Hesston Steam Museum operating season

The La Porte County Historical Steam Society runs its steam and diesel railroads and antique machinery on summer weekends, opening with National Train Day and Memorial Day weekend.
Weekends, May to Labor Day, then Ghost Train weekends in October and the Candy Cane Express in December.
From the record. First show and reunion held in 1957; the steam society was chartered as a nonprofit in 1968.
