Sugar Camp Days at Bendix Woods
13–14 March 2027 (expected date: not yet announced)
St. Joseph County Parks opens its sugar bush and sugar house for tours of sap gathering and boiling, with a Lions Club pancake breakfast, historical crafters, wagon rides and maple treats.
Second or third weekend of March (the second in 2025 and 2026).
From the record. Bendix Woods was once part of the Studebaker proving-ground complex; its clubhouse and the CCC-planted 'Studebaker' pine-tree sign (1930s) are on the National Register.
